Alyssa & Kevin’s day is one we’ll never forget—and one that reminds us why we love photographing weddings in Temecula so much.
Getting Ready: Laughter, Mimosas & Calm Vibes
The day started with Alyssa and her crew getting pampered at Europa Village’s Prelude Bridal Suite. The beauty team from Design Visage worked their magic, creating a relaxed, joyful atmosphere with Alyssa, her mom Carol, sister Megan, and her closest friends. Laughter, mimosas, and touch-up rotations filled the schedule—everything ran like clockwork.
Meanwhile, Kevin got ready in one of the Europa Casitas. It was a calm, intimate moment shared with his dad, John—perfect for capturing those pre-ceremony portraits with minimal distraction.
First Looks: Emotions Flowed Freely
The first look with Alyssa’s dad was quiet and emotional. You could feel the weight of the moment as he saw his daughter in her dress for the first time. Minutes later, Alyssa and Kevin shared their own first look in a quiet garden nook, surrounded by trees, stone paths, and blooming white flowers. It was an intimate, lighthearted moment that set the tone for the rest of the day: joyful, relaxed, and full of heart.
Ceremony in the Garden: Personal & Heartfelt
The ceremony took place in C’est La Vie Garden, one of Europa Village’s signature spaces. With ~120 guests seated under soft afternoon light, the couple walked down the aisle to instrumental versions of Invisible String and Lover. Kevin’s mom Deb, Alyssa’s brother Matt, and Maid of Honor Megan all played special roles in the processional.
The officiant? None other than Liz Hein Murray—one of Alyssa’s longtime mentors and friends—who crafted a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. As they walked back down the aisle to All the Small Things by Blink-182 (yes, you read that right), the mood was officially set for a fun, music-loving crowd.
Cocktail Hour & Portraits
While guests sipped champagne and enjoyed appetizers, we snuck off with Alyssa & Kevin to capture a few golden hour portraits among Europa Village’s lush walkways and floral arches. Europa offers such a rich visual palette—Tuscan-style walls, cobblestone paths, and a view of the vineyards in every direction.
Reception: Great Food, Speeches & Donuts!
The couple made their grand entrance around 6:30 PM to cheers and applause before sharing their first dance as husband and wife. Dinner service was beautifully paced, guests enjoying plated entrees while listening to touching (and hilarious) speeches from Alyssa’s dad, Megan, and Kevin’s Best Woman, Briana.
After dinner, the Father-Daughter dance opened the floor, and from there, the party was on. Guests danced all night, and at 8:00 PM, a sweet surprise was rolled out: a custom donut bar from Sidecar Doughnuts—a favorite of the bride and groom.
Music for the evening was provided by DJ Pros, who kept the energy high and the transitions smooth until the final song at 9:55 PM.
